RATE is a core part of the Career Readiness initiative, which aims to help liberal arts students on a path to career success by connecting their liberal arts experiences with the core career competencies. RATE guides students through a metacognitive assessment across four steps - Reflect, Articulate, Translate and Evaluate. Students can see their growth on each of the core competencies.
