How 1EdTech Members Power Learner Potential
The School District of Pickens County in South Carolina uses 1EdTech’s TrustEd Apps™ Management Suite (TAMS) to help bridge the gap between the information technology side of the district and the academic side, to find the best apps and edtech tools to serve the needs of the district’s educators and learners. The suite organizes requests to help communicate to educators what is and is not approved for use, as well as giving the why for that decision. It helps the district ensure all applications being used are safe, without hindering educator innovation.

The School District of Pickens County created the RISE Challenge for professional learning offerings, which allows district educators to receive professional development at a pace and schedule that works for them and makes it easier to put what they learn into practice. Using 1EdTech’s open interoperability standards, educators have seamless access to professional development challenges focused on utilizing technology in the classroom and reflecting on pedagogy.
