Mathspace combines three innovative math products in a single, integrated learning ecosystem.

Firstly, our standards-aligned Digital Textbook incorporates rich tasks, lessons, videos, interactive problems and teacher support materials to serve as a core curriculum for all classrooms. Our textbook is also printable, to support students and classrooms who lack access to consistent internet or devices.

Secondly, Waypoints is our diagnostic and continuous assessment product. Using the latest machine learning technology, Waypoints can quickly diagnose and place students, at the right level, enabling easy differentiation for teachers, and continue to make recommendations for what students are ready to work on. By breaking down formative assessment to five questions per week - taking as little as five minutes per week - Waypoints reduces test anxiety, while also providing ongoing proficiency and growth reporting to teachers.

Finally, Mathspace’s StepSmart Tutor Support technology allows students to receive feedback at every step of multi-step math problems, with handwriting recognition for mobile devices. Each step of a student’s math reasoning is automatically graded, with feedback, hints and suggestions guiding students to the final answer. Mathspace's focus on the process of solving a math problem - rather than just the final result - distinguishes it from the vast majority of online math programs, which are primarily based around multiple-choice.

Products can be used independently alongside other resources or used together for a seamless holistic approach to high school Mathematics leading to truly personalized pathways for students through the curriculum.
