Joint HED/K-12 Innovation Leadership Networks (ILN)

The Joint HED/K-12 Innovation Leadership Networks (ILN) are designed to provide a productive networking model for both HED and K-12 members to work together in a meaningful way to discuss pressing issues, share ideas, and build successful community-focused solutions. Each group focuses on compelling projects with clear milestones and deliverables to help participants develop solutions, best practices, and strategic resources to enable digital transformation to support teaching and learning innovation.

Accessibility ILN

This leadership network is focused on accelerating adoption of an interoperable, accessible open ecosystem by articulating a clear alignment between accessibility requirements and IMS Global interoperability standards. *This is a joint K-12 and HED Innovation Leadership Network.

Data Governance and TrustEd Apps ILN

In this ILN, institutional leaders will discuss how comprehensive reviews of student privacy, data security, and other safety issues of applications. Institutions will be given the tools necessary to ensure the appropriate safeguards of student data are in place. The TrustEd Apps program is the process that IMS has developed to vet applications and certify them for data privacy.

K-12 Innovation Leadership Networks (ILN)

The K-12 Innovation Leadership Networks (ILN) are designed to provide a productive networking model for district and state members to work together in a meaningful way to discuss pressing issues, share ideas, and build successful community-focused solutions. Each group focuses on compelling projects with clear milestones and deliverables to help participants and the K-12 community at large develop solutions, best practices, and strategic resources to enable digital transformation to support teaching and learning innovation. The ILNs are also the conduit for K-12 institutional and state members to provide input into current and future IMS technical projects. Participation in the K-12 ILNs is limited to current IMS institutional members.

K-12 Data and Assessment ILN

In this leadership network, members will focus on the meaningful use of education data and assessment, including summative, benchmark, formative and diagnostic assessments and the resulting data. This ILN is a conduit for K-12 institutional and state members to provide input into current and future IMS assessment work.

K-12 Digital Credentials ILN

In this ILN, K-12 institutional members are focused on developing strategies for the effective use of digital credentials, collaborating to advance the digital credentials ecosystem, and furthering the adoption of innovative solutions that support competency-based education.

K-12 Procurement Strategies and Solutions ILN

In this ILN, K-12 institutional leaders will network in meaningful ways to discuss pressing issues, share ideas, and build successful community-focused solutions. The group will focus on relevant use cases with clear milestones and deliverables to develop solutions, best practices, and strategic resources that enable digital transformation to support teaching and learning innovation. The ILNs will be the conduit for K-12 institutions to provide input into current and future IMS technical projects.

K-12 Virtual Schools ILN

K-12 institutional members will discuss how IMS Global can help meet the unique needs of virtual and online schools, and K-12 districts that operate an online school.

RESA Interoperability ILN

This new Innovation Leadership Network brings together our regional organizations to discuss how to better provide IT services to supported districts.
