CanCred Passport is a free, easy to use, multilingual service based in Canada, to store and share Open Badges. Users must be 16 years of age and over. CanCred Passport is the default destination for Open Badges issued from its companion platform, CanCred Factory, but can handle any IMS-compliant Open Badges. More than a badge repository, CanCred Passport provides social features to support open recognition communities.
CanCred Passport is built on the same technology as Open Badge Passport: Salava, the Open Badge Passport Community Edition, an open source solution funded by Digital Media and Learning (DML) Competition’s “Trust Challenge" in 2015.
CanCred Passport is owned and managed by Learning Agents, an award-winning Canadian educational technology company. It complies with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Canada’s federal Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
