1EdTech Europe Leadership Board

The 1EdTech Europe Leadership Board identifies major challenges facing the European learning community worldwide, both current and future, and to help guide the strategic priorities of the 1EdTech member community to advance technology to support innovative models for improving student outcomes.

CASE Network Advisory Board

The CASE Network of Competencies and Academic Standards is an authoring and distribution network of official CASE identifiers by standards authors, such as State Education Agencies (SEAs), and edtech suppliers. The purpose of the CASE Network is to make the creation, management, certification, and public distribution of official learning standards in machine-readable format more efficient than PDF’s alone. CASE Network provides a single, verifiable, trusted source of learning standards in CASE digital format, making it easier to support aligned instruction across the digital learning ecosystem.

Higher Education Contributing Member Leadership Network

The Higher Education Contributing Member Network is made up of the institutional decision-maker contact for each contributing member organization with a new “academic leader” contact being added in 2023. This group provides input into higher education programs, networks with peers, stays abreast of 1EdTech initiatives and connects the organizational work with their institution and staff. Network members serve as advocates of 1EdTech and open standards.

Higher Education Executive Council

The Higher Education Executive Council is the leadership and advisory group shaping the direction of higher education programs and initiatives. Members are a representative group from contributing member institutions who are engaged and active in the community, who leverage 1EdTech standards and provide advocacy for the organization. It is composed of leaders from the larger Higher Education Contributing Member Leadership Network.

K-12 Advisory Council

The K-12 Advisory Council enables effective collaboration among school district and state leaders who are creating and implementing technology integration strategies that enable continuous improvement in instruction and personalized learning. The Advisory Council leads the adoption of open instructional technology interoperability standards for curriculum, assessment, and all aspects of instructional improvement for the benefit of school districts and states working to put in place a new generation of IT infrastructure.

Assessment Product Steering Committee

The Assessment Product Steering Committee is a group of 1EdTech Contributing Members who are supplier and institutional leaders in the assessment marketplace, working together to set the vision and roadmap for assessment interoperability. The committee provides feedback to the QTI technical workgroups, helps drive assessment enhancements and usability, fosters long-term alignment between accessibility and assessment, and promotes QTI as the de-facto standard for e-assessment interoperability.

Caliper Analytics Product Steering Committee

The Caliper Analytics Product Steering Committee (PSC) is comprised of product suppliers and education institutions at the Contributing Member level who are providing leadership to design and implement coordinated activities to infuse market inputs and feedback to accelerate market adoption of the Caliper Analytics standard. For a supplier to participate in the PSC, the supplier must have certified products.

Digital Credentials Product Steering Committee

The Digital Digital Credentials Product Steering Committee (PSC) is a group comprised of 1EdTech contributing members who are committed to the implementation of certified Digital Curriculum 1EdTech Standards (OpenBadges, Comprehensive Learner Record, and CASE). Digital Credentials PSC members work collaboratively to set priorities for 1EdTech's CLR and Open Badges standard specifications.

Digital Curriculum Product Steering Committee

The Digital Curriculum Product Steering Committee (PSC) is a group comprised of customer-facing leaders from suppliers who are Contributing Members, and institutional contributing members who are committed to requiring the implementation of Digital Curriculum 1EdTech Standards, including CASE, Common Cartridge (CC/TCC), and/or LTI Resource-Search.

OneRoster Product Steering Committee

The OneRoster® Product Steering Committee (PSC) is composed of product suppliers and educational institutions at the 1EdTech Contributing Membership level. PSC members are champions who promote the ongoing development of the OneRoster® standard specification, make a commitment to implementing certified products, and promote market adoption. Suppliers who wish to participate in the OneRoster® PSC must have certified products.

K-12 Innovation Leadership Networks (ILN)

The K-12 Innovation Leadership Networks (ILN) are designed to provide a productive networking model for district and state members to work together in a meaningful way to discuss pressing issues, share ideas, and build successful community-focused solutions. Each group focuses on compelling projects with clear milestones and deliverables to help participants and the K-12 community at large develop solutions, best practices, and strategic resources to enable digital transformation to support teaching and learning innovation. The ILNs are also the conduit for K-12 institutional and state members to provide input into current and future 1EdTech technical projects. Participation in the K-12 ILNs is limited to current 1EdTech institutional members.

K-12 Local Education Agencies ILN

The K-12 Local Education Agencies Innovation Leadership Network (ILN) is designed to provide a productive networking model for district members to work together in a meaningful way to discuss pressing issues, share ideas, and build successful community-focused solutions to support teaching and learning innovation. This ILN will meet four times a year and will be the conduit for K-12 institutional members to provide input into current and future 1EdTech technical projects. Participation in the K-12 ILNs is limited to current 1EdTech institutional members.

K-12 State Education Agencies ILN

In this ILN, K-12 state education agencies will network in meaningful ways to discuss pressing issues, share ideas, and build successful community-focused solutions. The group will focus on relevant use cases with clear milestones and deliverables to develop solutions, best practices, and strategic resources that enable digital transformation to support teaching and learning innovation. The ILNs will be the conduit for K-12 state agencies to provide input into current and future 1EdTech technical projects.

The HED Innovation Leadership Networks (ILN) are designed to provide a productive networking model for college and university members to work together in a meaningful way to discuss pressing issues, share ideas, and build successful community-focused solutions. Each group focuses on compelling projects with clear milestones and deliverables to help participants and the HED community at large develop solutions, best practices, and strategic resources to enable digital transformation to support teaching and learning innovation. The ILNs are also the conduit for HED institutional members to provide input into current and future 1EdTech technical projects. Participation in the HED ILNs is limited to current 1EdTech institutional members.

Digital Credentials

This network is focused on establishing and supporting a digital credentials ecosystem based on open standards that show the whole learner at every step of their journey, ensure interoperability across systems, and open the doors to opportunity today and tomorrow. This group is collaborating on developing best practices, use cases, and other resources needed to help to make it easier to enable learners to capture and share achievements.

Digital Learning Ecosystem ILN

This very active group is focused on achieving a plug-and-play ecosystem of learning platforms, apps, and tools to enable teaching and learning innovation. This group is collaborating on developing best practices, use cases, and other resources needed to help to make it easier for all IT, faculty, and students to utilize the content and technology they want.

Emerging Digital Pedagogies

The Emerging Digital Pedagogies Innovation Leadership Network is a new community focused on the intersection of pedagogy and technology with emphasis on emerging and new technologies impacting teaching and learning.

Learner Success & Data Analytics ILN

The Learner Success Innovation Leadership Network is a community network of higher education professionals interested in discussing and sharing best practices, insights and innovations around leveraging data and analytics to support learner success. This community will engage in a variety of activities that include best practices sharing, providing input on 1EdTech event content, joint conference submissions showcasing use of analytics underpinned by 1EdTech standards, and resource development to benefit members and development of playbook resources.

1EdTech Task Forces

Task Forces are groups where Contributing Members work collaboratively to develop a charter for new work on interoperability standards. A Task Force can also be an ad hoc group convened to solve a specific problem, develop a recommendation or work product.
